About the Role

HELIXintel is seeking a Data Analyst to support the growth and success of our business. You will be responsible for managing data cleansing / transformation projects and analyzing structured and unstructured data to map into a database and provide valuable insights to our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their data needs and develop strategies to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Data Ops works cross functionally with engineering, sales, product management, and business intelligence to support and improve the overall data management infrastructure. The team is responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to data quality, data integration, data governance, and data security.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute data management strategies and plans.
  • Manage data projects from start to finish, including gathering and analyzing data, and delivering actionable insights to clients.
  • Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform business decisions.
  • Work with clients to understand their data needs and deliver customized data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain and update databases, data sets, and data visualizations.

Who You Are

You will work closely with our clients to understand their data needs and develop customized solutions to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Data Ops works cross functionally with engineering, sales, product management, and business intelligence to support and improve the overall data management infrastructure. The team is responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to data quality, data integration, data governance, and data security.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for data engineering, and be able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. They should be able to quickly learn new technologies and tools, and be committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Oozie.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies such as Snowflake.
    Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes, including building and maintaining data pipelines and data transformation workflows.

About the Role

HELIXintel partners with insurance companies to deliver our software platform and products to all parts of the insurance ecosystem. By partnering with reinsurance leaders, we are able to successfully navigate the network of insurers, agents, brokers, property owners and the facilities they insure. We are seeking an Account Manager to drive the delivery of the HELIXintel platform and ongoing coordination with insurance accounts. The role will require an acumen for relationship building and project management. Ultimately, you will develop the relationships that drive revenue growth by developing insurance accounts.

What you will do

  • Be a great team member by collaborating on a regular basis as the insurance accounts are driven through the lifecycle of onboarding, engaging, and nurturing.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and develop deep understandings of customer needs across the ecosystem.
  • Drive ROI for accounts by identifying needs, delivering solutions and providing insights to strengthen value to customer.
  • Provide regular progress reporting during regular pipeline check-ins with management
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to record all client activities, update progress, and forecasts.
  • Gather and package client feedback for product team to refine platform improvements and new products.
  • Improve the account management process by continually improving our ability to grow and retain accounts.
  • Dive into insurance industry development, understand risk profiles and market trends to improve our positioning.
  • Participate in networking events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company's client base and build industry connections.

Who you are

  • Earned a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in insurance/insurtech industries.
  • Demonstrated record of managing accounts.
  • Prior software and Salesforce experience is a PLUS.
  • High internal motivation and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and understand technical products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven strong ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

We’re seeking a controller to oversee the build-out and management of a high-performing financial reporting function and team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SaaS companies and/or venture-backed startups. As a strong communicator and skilled accountant, this person will build and streamline our financial accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and related processes. The controller will contribute to the vetting, planning, and implementation of new HELIXintel investments in the finance and accounting functions to aid in our operational efficiency and continued growth.

  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping activities.
  • Control technical accounting applications, such as revenue recognition, software development cost recording.
  • Work with executive team to develop and implement internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning as needed.
  • Monitor cash and funding balances and prepare cash projections.
  • Prepare internal and external financial reporting
  • Assist the head of finance in the budgeting and forecast process.
  • Advise on financial analyses and decision-making regarding capital investments, pricing, contract negotiations, significant costs, benchmarks, and other matters with management and head of finance
  • Organize information and statements for audits and both internal and external auditors
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and corporation reporting
  • Facilitate compliance with select legal and regulatory requirements
  • Drive execution of special projects as needed

Who You Are

  • Earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting or finance
  • A Certified Public Accountant
  • Have 5-8 years of public accounting experience, e.g., external financial audit or technical accounting, ideally with a Big 4 or large national firm, and/or
  • Experience in Series B or software technology company

  • Prior experience is NetSuite or SAP a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
