About the Role

HelixIntel is looking for a Senior BDR to join our growing sales team and help us build and accelerate our insurance partner pipeline. This is a high-activity, high-visibility role designed for someone who has already proven they can generate pipeline and is ready to take the next step toward a closing role. You will identify, engage, and qualify opportunities across insurance carriers, MGAs, program administrators, public entity risk pools, and brokerages.

This role is a direct track to an Account Executive position for the right candidate. InsurTech is one of the fastest-growing sectors in B2B SaaS, and HelixIntel is positioned at the center of it. What You Will Do

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and industry channels to generate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities
  • Research target accounts and key stakeholders to craft personalized outreach tied to business priorities, operational challenges, and market trends
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective customers through thoughtful, value-driven engagement
  • Identify and engage decision-makers within carriers, mutuals, MGAs, pools, programadministrators, and brokerages
  • Partner closely with marketing to refine messaging, target accounts, and campaigns based on market feedback and engagement insights
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, account intelligence, and engagement tracking within Salesforce
  • Represent HelixIntel at conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events
  • Support account-based marketing and outbound strategies that drive long-term pipeline growth and future enterprise sales opportunities

What You Will Bring

  • 6 to 12 months of BDR or SDR experience with a documented track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, including comfort with high-volume phone outreach
  • A people-first mindset: you genuinely enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and representing a brand in person
  • Willingness and availability to travel for conferences and client meetings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and outreach platforms (LinkedInSales Navigator, Outreach, or similar)
  • A competitive, coachable attitude and a desire to grow quickly into a full closing role
  • Interest in or exposure to insurance, insurtech, or B2B SaaS is a plus

Compensation

HelixIntel is committed to equal pay for equal work. The base salary range for this position is $60k–$85k per year plus variable/incentive compensation and benefits.

Location

This role is based in Buffalo, NY or New York City, NY with an expectation of at least three days per week in office. Additional travel includes:

  • Attendance at relevant trade shows, conferences, and team gatherings
